About

History:

The Inter-Canyon League, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and preserving the canyons’ way of life, was initially organized in response to the devastating flood of 1969 when a mudslide killed 7 people sheltered at the Silverado volunteer fire station after 18 inches of rain fell within 72 hours.

Today, the Inter-Canyon League a recognized 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, has earned a valued reputation of helping the canyon communities, that includes Trabuco, Modjeska, Silverado, Blackstar, Santiago and Williams Canyon.

  • Successful close out of the 2008 Canyon Perimeter Defense Grant
  • Recipient of a $1,000,000 gift used help aid victims of the 2007 Santiago Fire
