I am passing this information along for all canyon residents – please share this with your neighbors;
Orange Couth Fire Authority Fire Prevention will start Monday July 23, 2007 to conduct an inspection of all properties in Silverado, Williams, Modjeska and Trabuco Canyons. In the past local engine companies conducted these inspections. This process will be done by pairs of OCFA Fire Prevention personnel. The inspection criteria are not new: property access, address numbers, spark arresters, propane tank protection and basic clearance.
This process is slightly different than described in our recent community meeting in Modjeska Canyon and Chief Brown wanted to be certain that all residents are aware of this process change.
Any items found to need attention that are noted in the inspection will be sent to the homeowner by mail.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact Battalion Chief Scott Brown at 949 459-9053
The most unusual condition of the native vegetation in this time of drought requires your most careful attention to preparation and planning.
