WATER MAIN BREAKS IN MODJESKA CANYON

An 8-inch water pipeline in Modjeska Canyon Road failed early this
afternoon, approximately 1/4-mile up from Santiago Canyon Road.
We estimate that approximately 14 homes (and three fire hydrants) are temporarily out of
water. Two repair crews from Irvine Ranch Water District (IRWD)
have responded
and expect to be able to restore service to these homes within four to five hours.
